“One-Heart ? Helping 1,000 Households” Commonweal Project, Donating RMB40 Million to Help the People in Need in 4 Years
On Aug. 31, 2012, Yurun Group held “One-Heart ? Helping 1,000 Exceptionally Poverty-Stricken Families” Mobilization Conference at Nanjing Headquarters. The Group’s Chairman Zhu Yicai announced formally that, in the upcoming 4 years, the Group and the Group’s senior managers would jointly donate RMB40 million to start the commonweal charity program aiming at 1,000 exceptionally poverty-stricken families, in order to help these families get rid of difficult circumstances in life and improve the level of felicity. As of the present, Yurun has accumulatively donated more than RMB10 million, and supported nearly 400 exceptionally poverty-stricken families in a pairing way.
The “One-Heart ? Helping 1,000 Exceptionally Poverty-Stricken Families” commonweal project is a part of Yurun’s fulfillment of the “One-Heart ? 10,000 Private Enterprises Help 10,000 Households” project established by the United Front Work Department of Nanjing Municipal Party Committee. Yurun Group’s senior managers have taken the lead in participating in this commonweal project. It will give full play to non-public enterprises’ active role in constructing a happy city and completing the great undertaking of ‘being the first’ in Nanjing, vigorously propagate the glorious spirit of “gratitude for the source of benefit, feedback to the society, thanksgiving and contribution”, and finally drive poverty-stricken groups to get rid of poverty and become better off.
The objects supported in this activity mainly include three types of exceptionally poverty-stricken families: The first type is the exceptionally poverty-stricken families which have the labor force and the desire of employment or entrepreneurship, but lack labor skills, employment posts and entrepreneurship conditions; the second type is the exceptionally poverty-stricken families which have students at non-obligatory education stage, and can possibly get rid of poverty through employment or entrepreneurship after thestudents graduating from schools; and the third type is the families which have special difficulties in life and are crying for help.
The main contents of assistance include: The first is to promote employment. Namely, if the exceptionally poverty-stricken families have new graduates, young people waiting for job assignments, laid-off workers or rural residual labor force, Yurun will provide employment instruction or skill training, admit them or help them get employed, in order to increase their salary income; the second is to support employment. For the exceptionally poverty-stricken families which have the conditions and desire for entrepreneurship, Yurun will provide entrepreneurship instruction and related information, solve the loan for them or provide them with proper capital support, in order to increase their business income; the third is to subsidize schooling. If the exceptionally poverty-stricken families have members with the demand of learning, Yurun will help them to complete schooling smoothly, and for their children studying at non-obligatory education stage, Yurun will provide financial support to the best of its power, and try to help them complete schooling or provide training on special skills for them; the fourth is to improve living. Yurun will actively help the exceptionally poverty-stricken families improve residential environment, add basic living facilities for them, try the best to help them improve the communication conditions and raise the quality of life; the fifth is to solve difficulties.
